High-capacity steel ladles for molten metal
Tangshan Yuexin Machinery has 22 years of experience in manufacturing steel ladles. These are crucial in steel plants, transporting molten steel between converters, electric furnaces, and other equipment. They can withstand temperatures exceeding 1600 degrees Celsius; without them, the steelmaking process simply cannot function.
These steel ladles can hold 50 to 300 tons of molten steel. The outer shell is made of Q345R high-strength steel plate, which is strong and easy to weld. All welds undergo non-destructive testing to ensure there are no hidden defects. The inner lining consists of two layers of bricks: the inner layer of high-alumina bricks specifically resists the erosion of molten steel, while the outer layer of insulating bricks reduces heat loss, extending the ladle's lifespan. The trunnions on both sides are made of 42CrMo material, forged integrally with the outer shell, making them durable and fatigue-resistant.
Tilting is hydraulically driven, allowing for stable rotation from 0 to 90 degrees, preventing splashing during slag removal and casting. A safety interlock device is also installed to prevent overload and cracking, ensuring safer operation in high-temperature environments.
